Amphicoelias was maybe the biggest but we only know him from a single vertebrate bone, discovered in 1870, and lost after. so we have only the studies

Incidentally, that Amphicoelias illustration is a travesty.
Admittedly it's new, rather than some recycled 80s snoozefest, but it's just wrong in oh so many ways.
Sauropods do get the short end of the stick, illustration-wise. Compared with flashy dinosaurs like ... oh, just about anything, they do look a bit samey, and it takes a very talented artist (luckily, we have a few of those) to make them look interesting. Roidy McShrinkwrap there is not one of the better sauropod restorations.
