Wonderfull collection indeed.
Since most animal figures always seem to be made in a very static standing pose,
I've started to appreciate the movement in animal figures much more.
Like this St. Bernard from CollectA. It's very nice.
He is very happy to see you again and has started to run towards you, so he can give you a big fat dogkiss.

I agree, I enjoy a lot the pose of this Saint Bernard!

I am surprised, too, at the size of the CollectA Border Collie! I suppose brands make Border Collies to the English size, I am used to much bigger dogs!

MJ, you are right, they are really tiny. A neigbour of my mom's had a Border Collie for years and it was nearly the size of a German shepherd.

I know! It's silly because one could easily make these models into Australian Shepherds or even minis! I think even working Border Collies these days are bigger, and certainly in Australia too. Also - as you say, it's not uncommon to get GSDs x Borders here. The collecta BC is much more realistic than the Schleich one, though. I got it recently and was sad at its size. =(

I hope to get the Safari BC soon. Now it looks a bit better, from what I've seen.

I don't want to intrude here, but I'm curious what you think with the knowledge you have about dogs.   

What Schleich BC do you think is more accurate, the one from the agility set or the older one?

I love your collection! I have lots of Schleich dogs, some of them you don't have. I wish I had all those dogs! You are very lucky.
