I've recently started collecting birds. These are all I have as well as a black swan I've had for a while. It is a small collection but it is growing!

I have wanted the African Wild Dog for a long time! I love him so much! His painting is superb. I also bought a little fox kit, the tiniest member of my collection.

Some new lions! I realized I had a lot of lionesses but no lion cubs. The young lioness was a Christmas gift

Some scaly things The beardie is my first Bullyland! He's a little scary but Elijah makes the same face when I wake him up so at least it's realistic

Some mystery figures I got for Christmas that weren't on my wishlist I think my relatives, knowing that I collect animals, picked these up as they saw them and included them with the other items from my wishlist I have such generous family members!

Hello everyone, it's been a while. I added a few new guys to my collection, including the Giant Pacific Octopus! He arrived this afternoon, I love that Amazon Prime has free two day shipping! Gets my babies here even faster. Even though "giant" is in his name, he's still a lot bigger than I thought he would be, which is always a pleasant surprise when ordering online. Had a great photoshoot with him after school, he's very photogenic.

Next we have the Safari Wings of the World eagle. I had been wanting an eagle for a while, I knew there were a few out there but I love this model!

Lastly, about a month ago I grabbed the Mandarin Duck. I loved the unusual colors in the picture, and it is even more vibrant in real life.

Congrats! Mandarin Duck by Safari is one of my all time favorite animal replicas! :)

This week was Spring Break for me and I visited South Dakota. In an antiques store in Rapid City I happened upon some older figurines much to my surprise and happiness. These remind me of some that my grandparents have and that I used to play with as a kid.

These are some I bought at the dollar store. With figures, I'm only really picky when it comes to the way the faces look. I do like detailed figures, but I also love how huge the ones from the dollar store are. They have a certain amount of charm too
