| This morning I got my first ELC figueres. I had no idea what ELC is, but I could not resist these : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]They have been played with, and it shows, but I am very pleased with esp the tadpoles :) There was also two ELC foxes in the bid [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

They look a lot like AAA Susanne, how i know is Early Learning Centre a toy company with many stores in UK. I think like Toys ´R´us. Maybe our british members can say more about these stores. They sell a lot of different brands like Playmobil, Schleich, and hundreds other. But they have a own product line, i believe made in China, marked with ELC. They sell AAA too, but AAA and ELC are different brands. If you are interested in AAA look here: AAA Animals Torben P.S. If you wonder about my Danish first name, my parents were in my childhood often there on business travel. |

| ELC-these models were made in china for this chain of shops here in the UK.However many of these models are now discontinued and the range they have now using ELC is very small and many are the same as AAA.The shops are now stocking schleich as well. |

| The only AAA models that ELC now sells are in box sets. There is a farm set, a lioness and cubs, Tigress with cubs and an Elephant with 3 calves in my local store.
I have been told that they no longer sell ELC animal models or that they are no longer being made. They do sell Dragons, Knights etc but the ELC shops in Wales no longer have separate animals, only old stock.
The Early Learning Centre does sell other brands. Schleich is their newest line of models to be offered in store.
The frogs were part of a "Life Cycle" set that they use to sell. As far as I know, they no longer sell that set although they do have the Dinosaur life cycle sets. |

| Thank you, Susanne for referring this thread to me! I've been so puzzled by the absurd variety of quality in "ELC" models: from my favorites to the ridiculous Fugly Brothers. It helps to know that the best quality figures are actually made by AAA but branded "ELC."
(Shouldn't this thread be moved to the AAA group?) _________________ carolynn

(Shouldn't this thread be moved to the AAA group?) You are wellcome, - it was one of the big questions I had when I joined the forum I don`t know if it should be moved. Where would it be most natural to search for it ? |

| Only my few cts to this matter... I discovered through time that the ELC models are exactly the same as the AAA models, and i am pretty sure, that they were made by the same company, only just another name printed under them for the English stores... |
