Euhadra amaliae is a species of air-breathing land snail endemic to Japan.
This species of snail makes and uses love darts as part of its mating behavior.
It has a dextral shelf.

in 1999, KAIYODO made one for their second FURUTA set. At that time, the models were not as fine and the lines were much more visible than nowadays. Nevertheless, the sculpture was already very fine.

This creature has almost the same name as the best known Portuguese singer Amália! flower
Maybe it is a slow homage. Sleep Very Happy
It is very interesting to see such topics from these kind of creatures, they are an important part of the rich biodiversity of this planet and they also deserve to be replicated. Thanks for your great pictures! cheers
