incredible amazingly fantastic Papo ewe

My family went on vacation in New York in December and my mom insisted we go to FAO Schwartz, the famous toy store. It is pretty incredible, although i was disappointed that the only animal figures they had were Papo. (Nothing against Papo! i was just hoping they'd have the other brands too.)
Well of course i had to buy a souvenir, especially when i saw this breathtaking ewe:

That photo does not do her justice. Her paint job is just exquisite.

Her name is Frances Abigail Oriole Schwartz, and here she is with her new best friend, Miss Nayab. She seems pleased to hear what Miss Nayab has to tell her about living here.


They met in New York,


when Miss Nayab visited the FAO Schwartz Papo display:



(Miss Nayab always says that she looks washed out in flash photos. Please don't tell her that she actually looks radioactive.)

I wish there were stores around here that sold Papo. Tractor Supply and Toys R Us have *some*, but only the knights and such. Hobby Lobby has an ever so small collection. I don't know what I'd do if I walked into a store to see a display like that!

The Papo ewe is very beautiful and convincent looking!
The shop is impressive, I also wished to have a Papo shop like this in Lisbon.
I enjoy seeing Miss Nayab being a kind of turistic guide of your sheep adventures. Anytime I see her I have to laugh! I remember asking Torben, how did he found that it was a sheep?

She is dated 2005. It's hard to believe she's from the same company that made the nuclear accident sheep!
