| I made another 1/24th size rodent, this time a Mara or Patagonian Cavy from South America - it is in the same family as Guinea Pigs. First the actual animal: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Then the sculpt walkaround: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Let me know what you think! |

| Jack, this species is one of my "secret" wishes! I think it is very nice, I only think that the pose in picture below would give a best mara looking as long as the half sitting pose you're giving contributes more to their hare ressemblance and doesn't help giving it the traditional mara looking. They look like hares indeed. Only I think the horizontal stance would work even better. You're having fantastic ideas and it is incredible how small it is. Maybe you need a pair to make your Noah's Ark. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Great. I have always loved these little guys! They look like a cross between a deer , a rabbit and a capybara. |

| I would definitely consider a commission - but it would be my first one! :)
A hyrax was definitely on my 'to do' list. |

| Great--so is that a yes? I really like your work with the smaller mammels...I cannot make any from scratch and no other toy replicas out there can be customized into a hyrax. |

I would be willing to work something out - feel free to pm with what your looking for in scale and details of the sculpt. Are those pictures representative of what you are looking for in a stance? |
