| I don`t collect thoses figurines from Schleich and i have thought, that someone is intersting in the photo.
But when you have better photos i think you could make many people happy with showing them.
Best regards |

| It's interesting photo, I don't think it is the ugliest figurine from Schleich. So do not speak "us" Thomas01 :) Maybe you've got better figurines and photos, but for schmidtchenschleich it is interesting and maybe for somone too. I think, nobody here will say unkind words, if somebody show us very popular new Schleich animals. Many of members has got the same animals in their collections and could make better photos So be more patient please. Regards Joanna |

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, - that is some proverb I remember we learned at school Please, please send more photoes of bendies, Thomas, everyone, I grow to love them more every day, - all of them ! And tell about them, I am craving to learn more. I have only the book Anywhere`s a playground to lern from, and my copy is in German, so the reading goes very, very, very slowly |

| I love any photos of anything Schliech has made from the beginning to now. All photos are great! Some figures may not be in the best of condition, but there is a story to tell with each one. I would love to hear the story of where this figure came from and who it actually is? Is it from a German storybook or cartoon? We used to have a TV show for children called Gumby and Pokey. They looked about like this fella. Gumby who was the boy and Pokey was his horse and of course Pokey talked and they had many adventures. So tell me about this guy - who is Max & Moritz? ~ Sue |

| Thank you Torben for the link, they look to be in good condition for their age! Unfortunately they only ship to Germany...though they do take Paypal. Well, I know several on this forum that love these little guys and I don't want to get in a bidding war, but they are starting to come out of the woodwork, or maybe I just didn't realize they were around before But Peter, let me hear the story of your little fella. Looks like he has had a "well-loved" life (played with alot) and did you nibble off his finger tips? Does everyone in this forum know of "The Velveteen Rabbit" storybook? Was it printed in many languages? It goes something like this: It is the story of a stuffed toy rabbit who was loved by a little boy and his fur was rubbed off in areas and when the little boy got really sick the rabbit was with him through it all, but when the boy survived the illness but all the toys he had played with needed to be burned because of the disease. So the toy rabbit was in a pile waiting to be burned and a fairy came along and made him "Real" because he was so loved by the boy he became "real" to the boy. A very nice story... ~Sue |

| Sue, I would have loved to hear you read that story loud for me I don`t mind old toy having been played with, - what I don`t like is when somebody try to paint/patch them to look like newer/better ones Ha, ha, once I bought a couple of teddies in a second hand shop for the puppy to play with. But when she had shaken the first one to shreds, I saved the other one, - could not bear to see it That teddy is still on a shelf in my bedroom |

| Well, it is a historic Schleich figurine, nice or not. you collect it or not, and you like it for that or not, that is no discussion. But no need for those harsh comments Peter, and don't feel offended immediatly, this is not the first time, so keep cool please! _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman

| Hey, I was just looking though this thread again and noticed in the upper right corner of all the posts there was a + and - sign. As I was curious I clicked on it and something came up that said I had voted on the (I don't know what ) - ?reliability of the poster...I apologize - it was on Thomas's post and now it says 50%... it was totally not meant to happen so how do I fix it and what is that all about anyways Torben? I have not noticed this before, but will now watch for it. Help me get it fixed please! |

| Ohh, dear, - I have often wondered what those signs were for, - you are a lot braver than me and tried it out. So it seems it is some kind of voting system. I hope that somebody explains, too |
