May's SUY is Deer! Members of the cervine family, deer are even hoofed mammals; males of most species grow antlers that are shed yearly after the rut (breeding season); Most deer make high and low grunting sounds and loud bellows. Various species live on almost every continent in the world. Several species of deer are very popular and produced by many of the major (and minor) companies; the most common species made are red deer and white tail deer, while other species include roebucks, sika deer, muntjac, fallow, mule (though these species are certainly less common as figures)

Here the first of my deer

First from Reisler, a Danish brand that has not been made for several years. These models are from my childhood, and more than 50 years old.
As you can see, the antlers have broken of the stag, - the material is quite brittle, and the stag with antlers is almost impossible to find.

Here comes my Schleich deer :
The old roe deer. At first the does was much darker :

There is a clear difference between the one made in China and the one made in Germany :

The first Red deer stags. The oldest one to the right :

My only deer are the Breyer family and the Breyer Elk. They're packed away and i'm not even sure where they are.
