| Hi all, I had asked my dad to watch out for shadow boxes at garage sales, and he picked this up for me quite some time ago. It's been sitting in my basement until just last week, I got a spurt of energy and decided to lighten it up with some spray paint, and put some animals in it. It doesn't have enough of the right sized spaces, but it's a start, and this pic gives me the chance to try to post it on the message board here [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] _________________ "NJHeart2Heart" Dawn in NJ

| Thanks all :) These are not all of my collection- probably half. Some, of the right scale, are stored with my model horses for scenery, and the rest are just too large for this shadow box.
Does anyone have other suggestions for simple storage solutions like this one? I'd like to find another simple shadow box like this with larger spaces and I'd be able to hang them together and display most or my Schleichs :) _________________ "NJHeart2Heart" Dawn in NJ

| Very nice! I have a small shadowbox that displays some of my small animals and I love it. The one your dad found is excellent! |

| That is one nifty shadowbox! The uneven shelves make for a neat effect. I've been looking for a similar thing for ages, but apparently they aren't a particularly popular item of home decor here... |
