I got my rhino from Chang Chen Wei four days ago, it's a MASTERPIECE.

I had the bad surprise to discover the tail broken but by chance, I glued it and I think it's not too visible. I must say the figure wasn't well wraped at all but I said it to Chang Chen Wei and he has sent me 40 Eur back (I must say the figure costs 190 Dollars ) and it's very honest so with this money I bought four new papo for 2015 It will arrive tomorrow or after ...

Do you think glue is the best thing to repair a figure ?

By chance mine hasn't problem on essential part like horns or hears so it's the best "bad" thing that I can have with this figure.

The texture is great.
But 190 dollars..? .. I know, that is big..and it`s painted very well..but still...
You fixed the tail in a perfect way, it is not visible at all

Hi Florian

Personally I would have asked for a replacement. I cannot believe that the seller expected a model like this to survive intact with poor packaging.

I know but he was asking 40 dollars for the 2 trajects and the replacement so it's high and I was afraid of breaking more the figure if I send to him. It's why I prefered glued myself However I understand your reaction.

Florian sorry that your rhino arrived damaged but the seller’s business practice is not very good. I certainly wouldn’t buy from them again if they didn’t accept that they should have either refunded your purchase or replaced it and paid for the return postage if they need the damaged model sending back to them.

It is a very beautiful rhino Florian but I agree with Chris, the seller's pratices are not correct, it is'nt like he didn't know how fragile and precious was the item.

Congrats Florian! It is a beautiful piece and sad to hear the tail is broken. It should be taken care on the first place.

Thanks friends for your comments and I agree with you :) It can't be perfect every time because handmade models are fragil models and I know everyone doesn't well wrap and it's damage :/

Florian, you received goods not as ordered and therefore you are entitled to a full refund or a replacement rhino. If you paid by PayPal inform them that the goods were damaged and they will take you through the procedure.

Unfortunately, damaged goods do not hold their value.

It is a shame the tail got broken, but I think you fixed it really good.
I doubt anyone would notice if they didn't know about it.
The only problem is the fact that YOU know it.
Can you accept it or will it bother you forever knowing it once came with a broken tail?

Things break all the time at my place. Super glue is my best friend.  
But it can bother some people really bad, I know..
I'm glad to hear you got some of your money back though.

Thanks a lot Simone, I like your answer I think it's well glued but as you say I can't forget to remember every time I see my figure that it has a broken tail.
I think it can be less good so I accept it but the problem it's that the price is high and normaly the figures musn't be broken :)

It's a beautiful model however

On tuesday my Sideshow dinosauria (Which one I preordered one year ago) is arrived It is a fabulous masterpiece.

I unlikely discovered on Wendesday that a nail was broken on the hand of an allosaurus but I fast glued it with the nail of papo spinosaurus, which one was older and on the second picture is the result.

I thinked first to exchange but I was saying me it was better to keep this one because the others can be broken with a louder result (broker tail or other thing) and it was just impossible to exchange because the shop where I ordered won't have more because the model is limited to 1000 :) So it's the good choise :)

It's so sad about allosaur's nail, but I think you fixed it perfect And this figurine is great scene, dinosaurs look awesome.
