| Today I received very nice gift package from Mojo :DInside was, among catalogs and few other animals, the griffon vulture :DIt's wonderful figure, I like especially it's head and beak, feathers are also very detailed :) Now time for comparison with his Schleich griffriend, Valentine, they seems to have good time together. She's more ruffled I would say Mr Mojo Vulture looks a bit more serious Very serious type and... ... yes, yes, they are lovely couple There was also older griffon vulture by Schleich. Quite cartoonish one but I think he wanted to be on family photo as well Now, which company will do the vultures' nest, or chicks? _________________ Anna Horse and Bird studio - Horse sculptures My model horse collection

| Thanks Ana for your magnificent pictures. My tread is already on Mojo additions section to prevent double treads! I like the comparison picture with 3 figures specially. The old and successful Schleich "soft" cartoon style, the new Schleich style versed to stereotyped design and the Mojo style always caring with the good reputation of all animals. |

| Great pictures Anna! It's really nice to have comparison pictures. I'm afraid the Schleich vulture (2013), as much as I like it, does not stand up too well against the Mojo. The Mojo is just lovely and the detail is really nice. I'm looking forward to getting it! |

I agree, Scott. Even though I will get both of them, it seems Mojo is more detailed...I esp like the neck and head. Thanks Ana. Yes, Kikimalou, we need a carcass!!! _________________ Shawn

| The comparison shots are indeed very useful. I much prefer the Schleich version - it's more organic and alive - but mostly I'm just happy to see more vultures, whomever by. |

| Poor newer Schleich vulture ! She looks so clumsy together with her Mojo friend I just LOVE this Mojo bird ! The pose is perfect, and the head is just right !!!! It is awesome how this model combines the strength and elegance and slightly sinisterness of such a huge scavenger Btw, - a griffon vulture has been seen in Denmark, near the small city of Skive, in mid/north of Jutland ! It is only the 4th time in history we see a wild one in this country, - the first time in 1858 _________________ SUSANNE |

And which company will sculpt the dinner ? So far they could try the CollectA triceratops perhaps? (well, I guess it might be quite unique dinner) - Carola wrote:

I thought they've just met - SUSANNE wrote:

I don't see so many flaws in Schleich actually, only head is really not very good. But I'm happy to have them both - SUSANNE wrote:

Yes, that's what I feel about them too. Mojo version has better head but it remind me of heraldic animal because of the symmetric pose and ornamental looking feathers. Schleich looks more alive even with this blunt beak and too much make up around pretty big eyes. I like how Schleich sculpted feathers, they are natural looking and more dynamic also pose has more movement. I still understand general preference for Mojo one, head is very important part of sculpture, it gives character to all figure. Pose is quite peaceful, maybe he is sunbathing? Well, I couldn't choose one, I'm happy to have them both _________________ Anna Horse and Bird studio - Horse sculptures My model horse collection

| Anna, your photos are fantastic. I love the comparisons. I must say that I like the head of the Mojö and the pose of the Schleich figurine! _________________ Bojan
