| I have been busy over the summer so have many of our talented forum friends. As most of you know I love African animals and hope--one day--to create a huge diorama. Here are some customized and recustomized animals! rock hyraxes (baby capybaras) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Banded Mongooses [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Young laying down Okapi (was wine bottle cork) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Grey African Parrot [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]African Pied Crow [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]African Bush Squirrel [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Scimitar-horned oryx (extinct in the wild?? with youngster) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Safari Lesser Kudu with female lesser Kudu (Noah's Pal Female Mountain Nyala) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Red River hogs with piglets [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Bull Nyala (by Anna) and his females (by Harriet) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Zebra Stallions fighting (Thanks Phil and friend!) while others watch to see who is the victor (the pose may be a little too low) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Last, but not least, topi herd (thanks Harriet, Joan and Phil for Anna's, plus one of Phil's African birds) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Joan's Topi [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Harriet's Topi with Anna's in background [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] _________________ Shawn

| Wow very beautiful animals Congratulations And the Scimitar-horned oryx WAS extinct in the wild, Zoos have some projects to reintroduced this wonderful animals and this projects are very successful! | Awesome shawn! Congrats! I guess some members here would rathaer cry than repainting PV figurines maybe you should use at least one of the Scimitar Oxes to change the pose of the figurine. Maybe a standing and watching one? |

| Wow, there are some amazing models there Shawn! Harriet's and Anna's Topis are gorgeous, as are their Nyala. I'm amazed to see three of the females! (I just got one.) Very impressive collection. |

| Thank you everyone and thanks to the talent of forum members. Yes, Jarda is correct, the running ones are Playvisions and the sitting ones are Kaiyodos repaints. They are mongooses, but they were not banded mongooses. _________________ Shawn

Did you make the African pied crows or did you customized something ? I got them from a dollhouse website call Miniatures and they were just plain crows. I added the white to them. I also got the African parrots from a dollhouse/small toys website as well as the squirrels. _________________ Shawn
