The 2011 KITAN CLUB Chinese softshell turtle: A walkaround by Kikimalou

The Chinese softshell turtle, Pelodiscus sinensis, is a species of turtle that was first described by Arend Friedrich August Wiegmann in 1835 (as Trionyx sinensis). The species is also referred to as the Asiatic soft-shelled turtle. There is a subspecies japonicus which is sometimes erroneously listed as Pelodiscus japonica.
This animal have a big success in the Animal toys world. PLAYVISIONS made one and YUJIN two. In 2011 KITAN CLUB made a Turtle set with a Chinese softshell turtle: Here it is

This soft shell turtle is also used in some chinese medicine. You can find some soft shell turtle restaurants in Singapore.

The turtle lives in Korea, too. I have seen it in traditional market.

I have also the animal figurine. I like it, too.

Hello, I'm looking for know the exact size of this turtle, from nose tip to right hind leg tip.
Compared with the PlayMobil girl, I think that it can match in my collection but first I need to be sure before buying. Please!

Thanks a lot Kikimalou! Better late than never hehe. It's smaller than I've expected and fits perfectly in my collection! Sadly the offer that I saw when asked it passed away long time ago, but for sure I will be able to find this masterpiece for sale somewhere in the future :)
