Hello.

Ryan is no longer registered with the board.

He told me that he received three requests from members--for ZoorAsia, a penguin set, and the Capsule Q mammal set.

If still interested, please contact me about those.

Thank you.

Hey.

If anyone is interested in any of the available figures from this shop, my source will obtain them, add $2 per figure to the cost noted on the site including the right percentage of shipping per figure, as will I.  So you'd be paying $4 more than the prices noted plus the nominal percentage of the shipping costs.  Of course I'll add them to any existing order to combine shipping.

Please let me know ASAP as this will be one order for all involved.

If you've already requested something from me that is available here, chances are I already have it ordered, but please mention it again just in case.

Another forum member mentioned the same thing privately. I asked my source but I don't expect to get specific information.

I can get them individually as well as the complete sets.

The first two sets are on eBay for $46 each or $83 for both from another seller.

I'll beat that for sets 3 and 4.

I'D APPRECIATE AS MUCH FEEDBACK AS I COULD GET. SIMPLE YES OR NO FROM ANYONE READING THIS WOULD BE GREAT.

Does anyone collect the boxed sets?  A source is looking to buy and resell these and I am trying to advise him.  Does anyone collect the Atlas Anima figures at all?

Hey.

One of my sources is now buying on Yahoo Auctions Japan for me.  This means that I can get pretty much anything now.

As long as it does not become overwhelming, we're happy to buy for others, with buyers adding $2 each for him and me and $1.64 bank fee per figure (Ask about listing for sets.) for a total of $5.64 extra plus covering all shipping (nominal to him, nominal from him to me as it will part of a much larger order, and actual shipping from me to you).  In virtually all cases even the resulting price will still be far better than eBay's, and these are often figures you can't get on eBay for fair prices or at all.

Links to Kaiyodo figures on the site are:

ANIMALS
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

DINOSAURS
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

AQUARIUM
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Please request the Japanese characters for other brands so that you could search the site efficiently and I will post them here for all to see.

Please ask general questions about this here, so others can see the answers.

Please send list of either (preferably, so that you're doing the searching--not us) links to the listings or names and photos of what you want (I'm thinking in this case, unless it's just an item or two, I might charge more, as you'd be passing on the work to me or him.).

Also, as my buyer base is building, if you ask me to look for something and then find it yourself, please inform me, so I am not searching on your behalf and worse, buying on your behalf with you no longer paying me.

Thanks.

One of my sources can get me BOXED and RANDOM ONLY figures from this set (Hokkaido/strap):

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I was considering buying some to try to get the snowy owl in flight that I want and then offering the rest on eBay.  If anyone would like any of these, please let me know and for anyone who does so immediately I would offer them directly, with first choice, and for less than I would charge on eBay.

This way, the more I know I can sell, the more I can buy to try to meet my and my buyers' needs.

BTW, I hate random figures.  Another source has access to the gumball style vending machines from which Kaiyodo figures are sold.  They cost me money...    ;  )

Thanks.

For me is the box fish interesting. And what is the brown fish  on the left side in front of the jellyfish for a specie? It could be interesting too  Very Happy

Hey Andreas.

Gosh, was that link there all the time?

This is the Shinigawa Aquarium set from several years ago. It is, I'd say, the rarest of the older aquarium sets. The Kyoto set, btw, seems to be the hardest to find among the newer aquarium sets, followed by the Sunshine set.

These figures don't usually appear on eBay. I watched two auctions on YAJ for this one and both got very high. It is one of the sets I'm hoping to buy to sell on eBay to make good money--not to sell to my buyers, but I don't know if I'll bid on this one.

I already have it in my own collection, thankfully. The fish is a sturgeon.

Thanks.

Andreas...

I don't think you'll want to pay the prices I'll be asking!

There are a few rare finds that I intend to use to make really good money so I can afford to sell everything else for as low as I do. This set is one of those.

But I will let you know anyway.

And the only one I have so far is the sturgeon, but you are aware that I have a few on my list from that set!

Yes, I eventually saw. I'm waiting to figure out what happened with the first listing. It looks as if it had two winning bids. Dunno if there were two available. Might bid on the second.

And don't tell anyone... You're the only one getting figures from that set if I buy it. At least until I find no one wants to pay the exhorbitant prices I plan to ask on eBay...

It looks like the same seller has two more sets listed, for just a little higher than the last two.

If I had to guess, they are still less than the other auction will sell for.

I can now get a good number of the Kaiyodo Natural Monuments figures--which sell for crazy to extremely crazy prices on eBay--for fair prices.

I'm also seeing some clear and metallic gold versions of Kaiyodo Capsule Q figures on YAJ.

I also might have a new source go to the Kyoto Aquarium for me.  There is still some question as to whether it is sold out, but in case it's not (And he was told by an employee that it's not.), please let me know ASAP if there is any interest in any of that Aquarium's exclusive set's figures--giant salamanders, salamander larvas, water bug, etc.

I don't love or have any earlier versions of the ptarmigan or serow so I'll get those...and the very nice eagle.

I typically don't like K's bird sculpts so always nice to see ones that are done well.

But this month's set is so varied and awesome (even though yes, also redundant subjects), that this one disappoints me a bit.

And as I mention every time this subject comes up... I wish the company would start taking on worldwide species.

Most of the animals look similar from previous design. Although the eagle look really look. I have to agreed that it should start to explore at other regions, instead of modifying the existing animals.

Are those animals already available? I really need those ptarmigans!

I'll post when they are available. Likely in a few months. The owl set is first.

September's CQ set is en route to me.

Scroll up. See the set with the hatching box turtle, moth, hawk, etc.

I have 2 or 3 spares. First come; first serve.
