Susanne's Bullyland additions

Congrats Susanne, you´re a master finding interesting figurines :)

Small but very very nice!!!

They are gorgeous! they look like sumatran rhinos, but I could be wrong.

Yes, the funny thing is, that at that time they were called "Wild animals large", as opposed to the Minis and the Micros
Then came the the "De Luxe" series, the real big size that they mainly make today.

In the ´10 and ´11 catalogues they don`t call the figueres De Luxe size anymore, as far as I can see, because they are generally all that size.

I love the size of the old small "large" ones

Yes, they may be Sumatra Rhinoes
They made a Sumatran Mom and baby, but they were much larger.
But as I was just thinking/writing about, they made the same species in different sizes.

Unfortunately I only have the baby.
I know one of our friends has them both ( the large Sumatran rhinoes) , sorry I can`t remember who, but it would be great with a picture here to compare

I think you're probably right, it's a smaller version of the large sumatran rhino and calf - it would be great to see a comparison picture.

So they probably are Javan rhinoes, - Willy also call them that in his site ! I can see he has both mom and baby, too

Yes, they are marked as Javan Rhino's indeed underneath them...

Yes, at a first glance they look much like the baby of the ones marked like Janvan Rhino, but these are different and have only "Bullyland Germany Handpainted" on them.

Oh yes, i was mistaking Susanne.
I took a quit peek at my rhino's, and these you had in now are definiatly Indian rhino's!
There is even a smaller one then these 2...

Yes, you have to be careful buying Bullyland on Ebay without knowing the size - like you I once ended up with a MEGA soft-toy monster-animal

The older blue Great Dane together with the one from this year. I think I like the old one better


My old, potbellied pig has been living with a child who was not vey kind to him.
But he is only a little jealous with his new, more fortunate friend. Aren`t they sweet together ?

This small sealion from another series is older.
Here he is with the large male from Bullyland and the sealion from Schleich

I love them all! The sea-lions and pot-bellied pigs have to be my favourites. I also prefer the old great dane, the new one looks... quite scary but still nice, congratulations Susanne

I particularly like the sea lions is a nice family.
