The past year or so I've been working on a series of cetacean figures which I plan to cast and sell in the future. I'm making about 75 species, of which about 30 are done. Here's some examples: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Sperm whale female [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Hawaiian Spinner Dolphin [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Sei whale [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Orca male [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Northern bottlenose whale [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Pantropical spotted dolphin [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Breaching Humpback [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Northern Minke whale I plan on making other animals as well, but for now, I hope you like my whales and dolphins! If you want to see a particular species, please ask. I also take commissions.

These figures are excellent and you are very talented. Being so young, I expect that you have a fruitful life as a sculptor of animal replicas. I love every single figure and the painting of the pantropical spotted dolphin is amazing. Though, I am afraid you have to resize your pictures. Some members will have troubles loading this page. :)

You're welcome! About resizing ictures, we use to do it first in our own computers before housting. As you use DeviantArt and it is not a good idea to use DA to resize your pictures. Maybe you can follow this suggestion If the link I provided is not clear for you. Let us know and we give you some guidance.

That's a huge task to make 75 species, but already a great start and you will have a wonderful collection to be very proud of!

Yes, I already made a harbor porpoise :) I will post a picture soon, also of some other species I already made. I always disliked the name 'bruinvis' too, haha. And thank you Landrover and MiniZoo! It is indeed a big task, and actually even bigger than that! For some species, I want to make 2 different models, for example; for the Blue whale, I made a 'regular' one with a closed mouth but I also want to make a feeding blue whale with the expanded throat. Besides the modern whales I will also sculpt some prehistoric whales. And even skulls (in about 1:40 scale) I doubt I will cast and make copies of all of them, but I hope I'm able to present you fellow collectors some interesting species in the future.

| Oh, I missed these before. Nice sculpting and nice painting! I'm especially enjoying the unusual presentation of the humpback, the orca's pose supported by its flippers, and the spotted dolphin's painting. _________________ - Andy
