Ohhh, I am droooling over those Breyer ones
The colours are unrealistic, - apart from the lovely blue, of course, but they look great

For repainters, this topic may be the place to write that  Iceys can have almost all colours, but they do not have :
- the overo or sabino genes,
- the gene(s) for socks. So only  tobianos or splashed whites have socks, and in that case 99,999 % or more have all four legs with marks
- the gene complex for spotted like appaloosas,
- and to complete the list, not champagne either

LeeAnn reapinted the Safri Icey to look exactly like my Little Ida, shortly after Ida sadly died :

LeeAnn, what an impressive collection and Susanne, what a fantastic start although we know you'll enrich still a lot this topic.
My very humble colaboration once it is the only Icelandic horse I own, even my niece have more Iceys than I. Schleich Icelandic horse that I acquired from Susanne a long time ago.

Great photo, Roger I think that this old Schleich-beauty is still my favorite Icey-model
To me she represents the old, stocky, hard working, patient and intelligent horse, which used to be so vital to the people of Iceland.

What a lovely models from LeeAnn, Susanne and Roger :)
The most special one is of course the beautiful, Little Ida, repainted by LeeAnn :)
But all others are great too :)

I just love seeing all these Iceys!  

I only have two so far: the Safari and the blue Breyerfest Stablemate. The Icelandic SM is my very favorite SM mold.

First they were out to get a bit of wind in their hair

Very nice detail that the black roan has some sunbleached brown in the tail and mane

The roan coloured one was made in 2011 and 2012 and was replaced by the pinto in 2013

I would love to see more pictures of these, as Papo often makes several colour variations

Wow, so many wonderful Icelandic horses models here It's great to see all of them on photos. The Breyer Stablemates are adorable. The two Papo are very cute and I love their manes and expressions of their faces
The portrait of Ida is wonderful and heartwarming
Falhofnir from Breyer has very beautiful colour, it's incredibly good especially for factory painting
Schleichs are not always correct anatomically but the oldest version of Icelandic horse was really good  and with a lot of charm
I think Safar LTD one is really nice but I think that show-tolt is a bit too extreme for me. I know it's special for show but a little bit less extreme wouldn't be nicer?

Time to show the Iceys from Bullyland  
As Far as I know, Bullyland was the first brand to make this breed

The family of Palomino Iceys was made for several years :  1999 - 2011 :

Where as the black family was only made in 1998 and 1999.
They are hard to find, and I only have the stallion.

The bay family was made from 1999  - 2006 :

The earliest ones had a more shiny surface, - the later palominos and bay have matte surface :

These are "Rohlings", - I am tempted to make blue eyes on them, - nice cremello colour, isn't it ?

The latest Iceys from Bullyland were no success, - they were only made in 2011 and 2012

Poor mare, such huge feet and enormous muzzle, and that shoulder !!!!  But I sort of like her face anyway

Weird anatomy, but as you said, the face is quite okay. It actually reminds me of some of the Schleich horse's faces. The old quarter horse mare, the old halfinger stallion/gelding..
