| Yes, it is great to see you back here . Have ever Safari released the tube with fish figures that they discussed some time ago? |

Thats all i know. I have no clue about other animals Doubtful it will be a larger release--they already release 5-7 a year as it is. But maybe they'll fill some of the Carnegie holes. And not counting repaints or, worse, those silly eggs with dino baby toob figures in them. - Roger wrote:

The closest I've seen is the recent cave dwellers that had a couple of fish in it. It would be nice. But I'm pretty happy with the Replica Toy Fish series, so there's that! |

I think Roger is referring to another coral fish set. There were some Facebook rumors about that some time ago. I really do like the RTF series myself, he recently released new stuff.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] You're both right, the closest we have seen was this Cave Dwellers tube but I remember these rumors about a coral fish tube. Much probably, a tube to introduce in 2016. I like these Replica Toy fish, it was Emma who presented them to me, I hope to get some of them someday. :) Not to self-promote too hard, but I do have the entire line, as it exists, in my store right now. Including the long out-of-stock 6" Blue channel catfish. Well, I have 1 left; even RTF doesn't have an of those left! Within the next couple days I should have everything in hand! And I can ship anywhere...! I am especially pleased that there are 3 different 3" gars (longnose, alligator and juvenile alligator). I remember trying to get Safari to do a toob that included at least one gar, but nothing. As for toob early pictures, I recall seeing pictures of the proposed cave and deep sea toob models at least two years before the toobs actually came out, so it may be a wait for new coral fish (seriously? no freshwater fish...). |

Ahh no worries! I wondered why the entire line went out of stock not long after buying the entire line for myself. Maybe you're the reason why. I do have 5 unreleased models. Those are on the Wiki as shown. Very nice of Simon to send those to me exclusively. He did mention he needed more capital before being able to produce more models. Perhaps that's why he hasn't produced much as of late. I didn't really get into the swing of fresh water fish until December 2014. Always have been a tropical fish lover. I'd like to see more fresh water fish for a change though. |

To guide a collector is not a problem, actually it is a bonus even it is for your own shop. I think Replica Toy Fish needs more atention in general from collectors. They started a brave project and seeing your good words regarding the quality of the figures, it is a fantastic praise to the company. I am actually only interested in smaller ones 3". $1,50 each is a good price, I guess. The problem is postage overseas and the risk of paying customs. If you want, just pm me telling how much is all this operation. |

| You're right Roger. Their company is so underrated. I've been waiting for outdoor shops like Cabela's to start getting these in their toy isles but I guess not yet. |

One thing--the Canadian dollar has tumbled as of late, so the price of the newer ones is higher; but from what I can tell, the price in Euros or USD is still reasonable since that is what the CDN$ tumbled against! And Emma, I had placed my order a couple of years ago--so yeah, even though it wasn't huge, I must have thinned out his stock a bit! Were you able to get a brown trout from him as well? Simeon wasn't happy enough to actually put it up for sale-but I asked. Also, browns are invasive so why did he do that one? |

Hmm I never knew the Browns were invasive. They were introduced to Colorado from Europe, and his business is in CO, so I wouldn't be surprised that he added that one. I personally liked the brown a lot, it's indeed a part of my collection. |

I personally liked the brown a lot, it's indeed a part of my collection. They're pretty terrible around here, knocking out native ones like cutthroats and bull trout (the provincial fish). Along with brook trout, that also don't belong here. But the figure is a really nice fish, not sure why Simeon doesn't feel it's up to his standards for resale (I couldn't get any of them or the lake sturgeon, for my store). |

I see that we are starting it very well and you are already offering me higher prices! I understand and I also forgive you because you have a sarcosuchus eating a pike in your website, what is a manifestation of very good taste. |

Yeah--it would have been a gar, but the 3.5" ones weren't around at the time! Once the new gars get here I just might do something with them! I know, the prices in my store appear higher, but honest, the exchange tends to balance it. I haven't yet had a chance, but I will figure out postage for you (always brutal overseas, in either direction, but I can make adjustments!). |

| So hang on, sorry to distract from the original topic, but is the Replica Toy Fish site reliable? I would love to buy a set for my dad (and maybe myself) for his birthday, but I'm unfamiliar with the company. It's also located close-ish to where I live so that would be awesome. Are you in CO too? The website is very reliable. I spent 60$+ in purchasing the entire line and it arrived promptly and safely. It's definitely worth it. He's a trust worthy family man. |
