Now I see thanks to your first pic that the Schleich sloth bear is slightly smaller than the Schleich giant panda. I have the latter and doubted about buying the first. As sloth bears should be equal or slightly larger than giant pandas, you helped me to make my decision of not buy it :-)

Be aware. When my niece had more or less the age of your daughter, she collected animals and I was just buying them. Later, I've found a forum to find some more information about the figures. Suddenly, I've found some Papo figures and started also collecting. 10 years later, she is not exactly a collector although she still owns her figures and I have some big troubles to find room to all my figures. I think it was funnier if you both were collectors. She could collect horses why you could collect wildlife. Look at that hippo calf sitting, you loved it and I love it too. You will find how funny is this hobby even most of your friends of your age just find it weird. Take a look at our ages in our avatars and you will see that this hobby is to everyone.

But I loves real animals so I tried to trasmit my passion to my daughter too, starting buying this wonderful animal replicas.
And yes, now I collect them for my daughter and for me too
