I tried to resist... it is on its way to me. I really don't care for the 2022 bit on his flank though... what is he? A "My Little Reindeer"?

If they do this every year and are creative with their designs, I personally will enjoy it. If they start repeating or doing ones too similar to years past then I will lose interest. But I do think its a fun idea! But I probably need to snag a Papo santa figure to go with them...

Maybe they can join your creche, up on the rooftop and all that...

But then, mine not only has a Santa but a weird dinosaurlike monster guarding baby Jesus from Herod's men. I'm no judge of a proper creche.

I love it! 

I actually have another project similar to the nativity one I did. I am fixing up a small sled and planned on going all out with the decor and harnessing etc. That's partially why I like these festive special editions, and wouldn't mind a whole flock of unique designs. But for now I have 8 major brand regular run reindeer selected, and my "Rudy" from last year at the head.  I hoped to work on it more and maybe even finish it for this year's holiday but that didn't happen.

I was not expecting to see those subtle differences between those reindeer. Are they made in the same country?

Sorry it took me so long to get to it... I kept forgetting. 

Looking at the stamped bellies, they have the brand mark as usual, and only "Designed in X year". I will share photos soon because the original figure has this as well...

Thanks for checking Paige, it seems the figure was originally planned to receive some special editions.
