arrow Andreas here are some examples to our discussion about animal figures from the Erzgebirge.
The animals were produced in the Erzgebirge for dioramas like "Paradise Gardens", almost by homemade. Many of these animals are from Seiffen or around Annaberg, these were the main areas of toy production around 1900/1930.
The sheep are made mainly of plaster, sometimes in combination with mass, the legs are made of wood.

arrow Here are the sheep from Erzgebirge together with the farm lady by Reisler Denmark for showing the size.
The big sheep (left side) at the first photo is by Schleich, also for showing the size.

I know these Tuchstaubtiere, that are not so interesting for me. In the past i saw some but i dont know where. I think some are here to find on fleamarkets. I mean the compositions figurines, some are, a local friend told me, also from the 60s.

Here they are very, very rare. So I was very happy finding them some times ago at a flea market.
If you find some of them at the flea market again, you should buy them. Have a look here at "Sold list by Ebay Germany".

arrow  I know, it´s an surprise to see the prices - I got my 30 figures for a little pocket money and that´s why I have looked in the same way, when I saw prices at Ebay. Andreas, always keep attention at the flea markets for next time!

Same prices are also for Reifentiere and other figures from Erzgebirge like these ones.  Only the zookeeper is by Lineol:
