Yep. As Blaine has mentioned below, PV still pop up here and there thanks to Wing Mau or unsold batches. Definitely not knockoffs. I'm in a Facebook group for animal collecting, and someone pointed out Wing Mau to me. AliExpress unfortunately does have knockoffs here and there, but I've been lucky to score the real deal. Even if I didn't, the paint and species are the same. My biggest goal with my dioramas has been variety. I want as many different kinds of animals inhabiting my prehistoric landscapes. On another note, I heard back from Patrick May regarding his miniature Tully Monster. I have purchased two (a green/grey one and a tan one). Now I don't have to blow $100 on a Japanese figure. |

| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Purchased all except the blank. I don't have the time/resources to paint a figure as a college student, so I'm happy to be getting these two already painted. |

| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Does it count? Here is my self-made Hallucigenia, made out of a rubber tube, nails, a piece of metal, a broken bpiece of an old sink and glue bottle caps as eyes (even though we are not sure Hallucigenia had eyes). |

| OMG, am drooling all over the screen. This topic is awesome! I would seriously love to have a big prehistoric sealife setup, with emphasis on Palaeozoic lifeforms. I just don't know of many Palaeozoic figures besides the Safari toobs (which I have, I can see if the store has any left if someone wants), the Cambrian set on eBay (Favorites?), the handful of Aussie Yowies and a few gashapon. It is edifying seeing which companies have made any. I enjoy Mesozoic greatly too, but there are more of them and they aren't so weirdly wonderful. |

| Ah, thank you, Halicocheres! That's going on my wishlist. I'm desperate enough to have saved some Pokémon that came in bags of thrift store toys that sort of looked Palaeozoic.
Didn't Schleich make an ammonite at some point, maybe like Andreas'? I've never seen it in real life. They sell in my area, but a handful of Bayala figures is as exotic as they get. Papo and Bullyland are nonexistent in my area. I do have some Safari around, but I've never seen exotics from them. |

| QuollMate, how did you decide the Bullyland trilobite was Modocia?
Also worth noting if someone is ordering from Tedco: The Stethacanthus and Groenlandaspis are from the COG Sea Life set; the Earliest Life set is strictly Cambrian. _________________ Where I try to find the best figure of every species: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]New: Tedco Aysheaia. Joy City dolichorynchops, odontochelys, and plesiosaur. Bin figure onchopristis by “S.H.” Someone on Facebook has one that they got 10+ years ago and it is labeled onchopristis. My newer run of the mold does not have this ID, but it still counts. Custom brontoscorpio from the Safari Ltd cave toob scorpion. I plan to modify it a bit more. |
