Your pictures are ever so beautyful ! The blue colour makes me think of water, and it enhances the grrey colour of the hippos !

I could not say which one I like the most .
Roger's CollectA hippo lived here for some months, which I enjoyed very much, but I still adore my Happo

With pictures like these it sounds like a symphony of hippos! Really perfect work with this topic, Kosta! I am particularly glad you opened a 2nd episode with the Papo model. It was my first truly amazing hippo. The hippo of the start of my collection that lived a long time on the market without a real competitor. I love how clearly we see their mouths on your pictures, the skin textures, wrincles, etc. As you know, I tend to choose a single figure each species but how to choose a single one among these three? I think Papo's is still the ballet dancer that at the same time can look mighty and sumptuous. The hippo of my generation. CollectA is the king of detail and realism and Lineol is a monument!

Very interesting comparison. The Papo hippo seems to be putting in a little more effort with his smiling than the other two. Hopefully he wont throw out his back with such a stretch.
