The two different colourations of the Takara spear squids

Hi,

Does anyone know why the two spear squids from Takara have different colours ?

I don't know if it happens in this species but I know in some squid species males turn bright red instantly for courtship the females. Maybe this is the case, notice also the sculpt is different (the supposed male is longer)
