| Welcome, it would be great to see your Britains collection. I am a keen Britains collector too. It's good to see that younger people are still interested in Britains. |

| Yes, it is interesting to see your interest about Britains. The most remarkable brand of toy animal figures of your country. I am not so dedicated but I also own a good number of them. Welcome and enjoy! |

| Great collection of Britains copies, Sandor! It's interesting that they are always smaller than the originals. |

| Hello friends of BRITAINS Ltd. animals, here I show you some original and many copies of the Lioness of BRITAINS Ltd. You can find so many copies of BRITAINS Ltd. animals because the company BRITAINS Ltd. decided in the 60-70 Years to manufacture their animals for a cheaper price in asian colonies of Britain - Singapore and Hong Kong. In this places/countries the copyright was not so well known as nowadays. So many copies were made of the original BRITAINS Ltd. animals and copies were made of the copies and so on. BRITAINS Ltd. stooped the manufacturing in asia, but it was to late. So BRITAINS Ltd. decided ~about the 70 Years to change the scape of the copied animals. And so you can find some BRITAINS Ltd. animals that look nearly the same but they are have some changes. Benno. 1-BRITAINS Ltd. before 1973. 2-Singapore. 3-NYLINT TOYS, Made in Hong Kong. 4-Hong Kong, yellow, full plastic. 5-Hong Kong, "white", full plastic. 6-???, red, hollow plastic!. 7-CHINA, other ears!. 8-Made in Hong Kong. 9-Made in Hong Kong, shape seems to be bended. . |

| Here's my Britains shire horses - they're all recent plastic ones, repainted myself. I've tried to create the variety of different colours found in the breed. _________________ |

| This one? https://toyanimal.info/wiki/Britains_plastic_Shire_horse,_brown_1970
Britains never made a grazing horse (at least not without rider, they may have made one for their soldiers/cowboys range), so it may be a Timpo. Timpo is normally marked underneath.
These repainted Shires are absolutely amazing George. I think it's the best Britains horse sculpt, and your painting really brings the best out of them. |
