2022 Toy Animal Figure of the Year - Preface

Dear friends, it's time for the 2022 STS Figure of the Year awards.
Our community have been always participative and we are dedicated to preserving this tradition.
We have narrowed down the categories to seven: Wildlife, Woodland, Prehistoric, Farm, Sealife, Horses and Dogs.
Terrestrial invertebrates will be included in other categories.

Starting on February 11th, we will begin choosing figures for each category. The topics will be open for seven days.

Below category links will be updated, some have 5 choices while other have 3 choices each member.

On February 18th, we will start polls for all seven categories with a maximum of ten figures with the most choices. These polls will run until February 24th, in single vote mode, and the figure with the most votes in each category will be considered the 2022 animal figure of the year for that category.

The final poll, with each category winner, will run from February 25th to March 4th, again in single vote mode.
The figure with the most votes will officially be named the 2022 Toy Animal Figure of the Year.

We want to be fair and neutral, so we are avoiding adjectives such as "best". We are simply asking for everyone to vote for the figure that brings them joy, regardless of the brand marked on it. We do not require participants to collect these figures to make their choices, simply to like them.

We will provide pictures of the 2022 releases for all categories to make the choices easier.
All 2022 releases are eligible as long as they are toy animal replicas, including figures that only differ in painting, which will be considered a single entry.
