| I do not own these photos, but they have been published by Triple Mountain Model horses on their website, so I'm assuming that I can share them. I'm very disappointed in this dude's paint job. It looked much softer in the promo pictures, but in hand, his dapples seem to be much harsher, and not nearly as pleasing to the eye. I can knock this model off my to get list, that's for sure. | Give it antlers and it's a fallow deer. |

| I think it's cos they're so round that they look so artificial, if they were little shaped splodges they'd have a more realistic look. Like the grey hanoverian from last year - he has the same paintwork design in theory, with a block of printed dapples applied on each side of the body over a spray-shaded base colour, but they're done as small pointed patches of pale colour, not spotty blobs! |

| The difference between the promotional photo and the final product is dramatic. But I think they wouldn't look that bad with less contrast in color or thinner paint application. I think I possibly found the specific horse that might have inspired this painting design. It's a rare color combo of grulla + silver in Morgan that led me to This Horse. He looks especially similar in the photo with magenta flowers. What do you think? _________________ Anna Horse and Bird studio - Horse sculptures My model horse collection

| He does look really similar to the model. Personally, when I first saw this paint job, I thought that it was a rose grey. |

| That's a beautiful sculpt and the gray body color is nice, it's a shame the dapples didn't work well. |
