On Safari's website I noticed this collection is on sale... the entire series. I figure they may be retiring it? A shame, but if you miss anything you better grab it now!

The WW red panda is on sale too. Crying or Very sad

I couldn't afford it right now but it is a gorgeous figure.

I noticed this too.. I find it very odd that they would retire the entire line. Many of those figures are quite popular. I hope its just one of their sales.

I don't mean to be alarmist, but from my experience if a whole group of models went up for sale end of year, it was because of retirement. I have no confirmation for certain but I would say this is highly likely.

Has anyone seen the 2023 catalogue? Is the MBA series still in it?

From my understanding they stopped printing paper catalogues shortly after Covid started, so that's not available. I don't think they do ecatalogues like CollectA, Papo, or Bullyland either.

That's what I heard last year too, but then they ultimately released the 2022 catalogue, see here.

I could be wrong, but they still print Dealer's catalgoues. Just not consumer ones. Spielzeug-guenstig is a toy store so they still would get the dealer catalogue.

Yes, that may be right.

Funnily, I bought the MBA grey whale last week because I thought that you never know when it goes out of production. That doesn't mean much though because I often use that as an excuse to buy things.

Really a shame to see this series go. These figures sell very well at my work. I have the whole line and it’s one of my favorites from Safari. I highly recommend the whales to anyone on the fence about them!
