congratulations Alain on these very nice models! Would some of them be around the 1/32nd scale??

I like the paint job on the tigers actually! Especially the white one :) it is very 'minimalist' albino

Those were very common in Portugal when I was not that interested in them. Now I can't find them anymore but I already have most of my favorites. Though, I still need the lynx, for instance.
That series was initially known from Del Prado, there are 72 models with loads of color variations. I have two completely different painted foxes.
There are lots of different assortments so it depends of the brand which sold them. For example, one of my foxes was distributed by a Spanish company called Atosa while the other traditional fox in red color was a direct product from Nayab.
This is the best Nayab series perhaps, the one which looks closer to what we expect from major brands. Some figures are really good like the gazelle, puma, lynx and some are really weird like the wolf or the ugliest sheep of ever. Laughing

Here are my foxes:

Yes Rogério, they must have been very common for I often find them in flea markets here. As you pointed it, some are very good and others deserve our interest as collectors. I expose them by Nayab sets, even if some could have been sold under other brand names as Delprado, Fasr Champ,..

These foxes suffer a too big head and have shortened members and body but received a good painting! I never met here the pale version.

Yes, this fox is quite stout with a neck resembling the sheep from the same series. In fact, the best way to identify these figures is as being from Nayab, as Nayab manufactures them for other brands.
I believe the molds were originally from ToyWay and then transitioned to Nayab, but these are details we are unlikely to know. They are Nayab, from the series of realistic figures, and should remain so.
As for the pale fox, I have never seen this figure in another collection. I think these Atosa sets were only sold in Portugal and Spain. On the other hand, I have never seen the red version for sale in my country.

The ibex is one I'm looking for too. I hope you can find one for you and another for me. Laughing
Very good choice of using that specific Schleich fox for a comparison. They suffer both from a barrel body, big head and short legs. However, I know that Schleich fox is the kind of figure people hate or love.
On the other hand, I think the Nayab squirrel would compare much better with the old Papo squirrel.
It is hard to tell the exact species of some models, namely the deer.
We thought for a long time the hog was a wild boar, so it seemed a poor representation of the species but when it was identified as an African forest hog, we concluded the figure was not so bad since it matches nicely the African species. I remember giving mine away and after knowing what it was, it was Taylor who saved me and found another for me.

Yes I hesitated with squirrel for the Papo one is bigger. And about the giant hog, before knowing TAW, I was convinced it was one and so, it is a precious figure! Very Happy

Some great additions again. The models here in the UK are either Nayab or Timpo. There are some that are a lot rarer in the UK like the donkey, falcon, bull, flamingo, stork, buffalo, deer, stork, mallard and eagle.I am still trying to find some of these models along with the Wild goat.
The deer is a little hard to identify but I think concensus on here is that is a Sika.
The African elephant I always thought looked more like an African forest elephant.

We identify the flamingo as a James's but maybe it is just an optimistic guess.
Christophe suggested an unusual species to the falcon, a leaner one but I can't remember which one.
I agree the chimp is the best. Normally, brands with a non consistent sculpt quality are unable of representing good primates but this one is exceptionally good.
I think this is the same giraffe I have, if I remember well, it has 5 ossicones so it represents a specific subspecies. Isn't it a good size for 1:32 as Annette requested?
