Congratulation Willy Very Happy

The birds serie from Linde are really exquisite models. You know I don't collect unpainted models... And you know that ones are nevertheless in my collection because I can't resist anymore I love you

Merci mon ami!
I think a lot of those Linde figurines are quit good, although the scale is very different.
Did they make more birds then?
I only got the falcon, pelican and penguin... Rolling Eyes

I have also an ostrich, a grey heron and a ara and I think there is at least a owl and a tucan.

Yes, my collection is growing fast, but i am older than most of you, so i have to catch up on time, haha. Wink
and don't forget, that a lot of those brands are not always expensive as Schleichs or other items in that price-range.
I am not talking about my Lineols or other composition models, which can be very expensive sometimes.
I am waiting for the Lineol Saberantelope and Oryx for a long time now, but it seems that the seller takes a hike on me, and i lost his mail adress... Crying or Very sad

Well, make a wild guess, haha... geek
The most common stork which lives in Europe, so what would a modelmaker have in his mind in that particular time? scratch
But not a heron for sure... alien

Ok then Roger, and thanks.
Why do you need a dromedary then?
As this is a tread about linde, you could hunt for this one;

Otherwise you could try to find one in this section of my collection:

Linde Figurines - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Linde Lot came in for june 2011   Linde Figurines - Page 2 EmptySun Jun 26, 2011 5:56 am

A few weeks ago, i found this lot on ebay Germany, but it came from Austria.
I thought, i had 2 of these figurines, but it was only one, the chamois, so it is available for trade.
Don't even think that they are bad because of the white colour, they are very good in model, but lack paint, and sometimes a little re-modelling, because the name Linde is on them.
Just ask Christophe, he only kept the birds like the peregrin falcon and the pelican, which are much bigger in scale like the other animals, but they are nice anyway! Very Happy
The Californian Seal is a model i had, but now with Linde marked on it, instead of Titze, which is probably another chocolate brand or so.
Remember, that these models came from the 1950's and 1960's... monkey
If anybody is interested, i can put more pics from models of this brand here...

These are the 5 items together

Linde Figurines - Page 2 Linde_Californische_Zeehond_2
This is the Linde Californian Sealion, exactly the same as the model from Titze, but marked with Linde instead.
