Why the prices of schleich brand rise up more and more ?

Prices are rising a lot.
The dragon kishay I bought at 18 eur.
now worth 26 eur.
An added another color on the labels to make their products cost more. If they sell well upload For what?

People do not buy as much, if prices come down as they were two years ago ... people buy more.

yes, they should knock it down at least 50p or more because i've seen people walking into shops and really wanting a animal but when they look at the prices they have second thoughts. this could make them lose money over the years

the collectors who buy an animal twice more than last year .Schleich with your customers stop buying:|

And that's just why I didn't buy the whole schleich horse collection yet.. It's just so expensive!

I know times are hard and the price of goods and raw materials have gone up but Schleich seem to increase their prices annually and the rises are steep. At what point will they stop? At this rate the price of the largest animals will go over 10 euros and keep going. Who is going to be able to afford such models then?

They are in danger of becoming victims of their own success and pricing their own customers out of the market......the price hikes are ridiculous. We are talking small plastic model animals, keep the prices low and let us buy more.

On the other side Papo is generally cheaper and the size of the models much large, CollectA and bullyland tend to be more moderately priced in my opinion......oh well.....

Yes, in Poland prices of CollectA models are even 40% smaller compared to Schleich And what people do? Of course they buy much more CollectA for their kids, I see toy shop buy more CollectA animals once a week while schleichs only twice a month or less often PVC animals are toys and I think shall have right prices , otherwise parents wouldn't buy them for their kids...

In my country in some stores elephants worth 12.50 and a
medieval wagon 30 eur. the carriage 55 eur elf.
It is very expensive I can not afford these models.

Eventually the ''new'' business-focused Schleich will loose most ground to CollectA and Mojo. Papo and Bullyland are also extremely expensive, while Safari is still rare in Europe. They raise prices because they know collectors buy and buy, but regular people are pretty ignorant to collectible value, and judge toys by the price and brand. They will buy teddies rather than plastic.

But that's just one online shop, generally I find Schleich prices unreasonably high, especially when you look at their recent decline in quality. And they are toys after all...

Luckily I decided not to focus on Schleich, I'm going to buy their models only occasionally, so I can live with that.

Wow, that's interesting! In my city Collecta small figures are for 9 PLN, medium sized for 13PLN and bigger for 18PLN, biggest 23 (horses etc) while Schleich are more expensive (starting from 14 for smallest models and then horses go for 29) I wonder why prices vary in different cities

It's online shop, their Collecta prices are still a bit lower that in your local shops.
Their Schleich prices are MUCH lower than what I've seen in various stationary shops. For example - Schleich horses are for 20.90 PLN - almost 1/3 less than in stationary shops!

I haven't seen any Collectas in my town yet, I have to buy them online. Besides, I usually buy more than one model at once, so it's cheaper for me to buy them online anyway

Its because the inflation. All things get more expensive. That is our capitalism system.

In Singapore is almost Schleich & Pspo are the same price compare with two years back. But Collecta is more expensive!!

It's not just toys...

Prices are even higher here in France... 4,5 € - 5,5 - 6,99 - 7,50 - 8,50 !

I know. The prices suck now. My first foal cost 3 new Zealad Dollars. now they cost 7. Plus my hubby has just given me a price limit I am not to exceed every month!! It's going to be a slow year!!

I agree when I started collecting horses were 6.00 canadain and over the past 6years they have come up to 9.50!

Bullyland is much more expensive to by in USA than Schleich!
