Hey, if I am correct, the horses are Seabiscuit and War Admiral. I have those two, but unfortunately the tips of their ears broke of after our several moves. They are great figures though, and that topi is beyond wonderful. Congratulations!

yeh, I'm really pleased with the Breyer, 1. because l love Maureen Love's sculpts and 2. they're hard to get hold of, so a lucky find for me.

Here is another newbie to my collection, a Lineol grazing heavy horse. I'm not sure if this is an older version from the light coloured one (which I see a lot more of on eBay) - I noticed the modelling is slightly different when comparing them both together, this one that I've bought is more accurate I think and has more refined sculpting detail.
I love the pose, it's such a pleasing model, I find it very inspirational.

That is a magnificent piece, Harriet! Very Happy

It looks to me the same as the lighter one although details are more visible. Lineol had many generations of figures and probably it was an update of that version. We need our Vintage experts here. Very Happy
