Telling each other jokes of a common enemy

It's like the Hyena is telling the Buffalo, "You better start running now or I will eat you alive!" And the Buffalo replied with his sarcastic smile, "You... alone? You must be joking? Leave me alone before I kick your ass out!"

I like the hyena, however it looks different than the prototype photo. The main reason is the paint job(finished product to orangy(in color)/spots need to be redone and overall body to glossy(needs to be more of a flat paint-like for example(pictured) the Papo lioness).
I haven't gotten around to it, but it just need to be repainted and I think it will be fine.

I agree! Maybe Papo is truing to make a beauty but not with a realistic painting!

Today I received my 2 hyenas!
I must say I'm in love with them!
They are amazing! Definitely recommended for African Savannah fans!
I'll post pix of them later.

(next to it on his right is Schleich, of course)
And yes, it's Papo's cheetah (VERY good figure, too)

I'll wait for Papo or Schleich to create baboons, for I collect only from these two brands.

The Papo lion, which I don't have is not the best lion ever or even the best Papo wild cat, but good lions are rare I think. The Schleich is not a bad model but smaller than the Papo. So if you need a male for the Papo lioness, The Papo is a good choice. As far as I'm concerned, I will wait about the new Safari lion, it seems not so bad.

The Papo Lion"King of the Jungle" is by far the best and most realistic male lion so far made by any toy company. As I said before, my male lions all look even better now that I painted their manes different shades of dark brown/brownish black.

I'd like to thank Martin, once again, for posting this thread - thanks to his great photos I'm now a happy owner of Papo hyenas!

I really love the Papo lion too, I don't have any Schleich lions, but I like the one you have Gabe. I also like the Schleich Lioness lying, but I'll wait for Papo to make one I think.

I'd like to see the Safari hyena with the Papo. Does anyone could show me a photo or tell me where to find it?
