Tongxinensis, a kind of Platybelodon once survived in China.

Fantastic drawing of a fantastic creature cheers

I agree with Ana, - I wouldn`t like to meet one on my walks int the woods if they were more than 50 cm tall Shocked

It looks like they were able to dig up roots with those teeth...

Thankyou very much for this impressive drawing flower

I love shoveltuskers! Very Happy Great drawing, very accurate and beautifully executed.
If I may nitpick a teeny bit, I would like to see a bit more cheek on him - as it is the mouth seems too wide. Most herbivorous mammals are big chewers, and for that to work they need muscular cheeks to keep the food from falling out of their mouth.
Then again, I'm hardly an elephant expert, so correct me if I'm wrong! Embarassed
