I would also like to know A LOT more facts about Safari`s models.
One of my very first obstacles is that there is no year on their catalogues

I think I can at least help a little with the catalog years:

2008:

It's not much, but it's a start. The good news is, Safari's 2013 collector's guide has a year (in Roman numerals) on the back just above the product number.
