New homemade finished today: black-and-white hawk eagle (Spizaetus melanoleucus)

That is wonderful Isidro and believe me, I don't remember reading about this species.
I checked its name in Portuguese language and again it is completely strange for me.
It translates to hawk-duck or to widow eagle and I surely dont recall it.
Thanks for sharing and also for reducing a bit my ignorance.

Little known species are my favourite to do, as far as they have a striking appareance like this one! Obrigado pelas tuas palabras :*

The paintjob on the wings is especially well done and you have been improving on birds' feet with this one, even if one of them is slightly thicker than the other one.

Wonderful model of an unknown species to me! all details are so realistic, eyes, beak, toes and claws, painting!..

What a coincidence that you mention that, I just got the whole Colorata raptor set a few days ago and took photos

I think the Safari toob harpy and the Colorata one are beautiful together. It's hard to get a good shot because of the Colorata's wings but their bodies are almost exactly the same size.

Wow... incredible, how perfect match! Maybe I would not have bought the Colorata raptor set if I knew Safari were about to release this one! (with better texture and no seams!)

The Safari toob harpy is painted very well for a toob figure. I was skeptical to buy the colorata raptors because I wasn't a fan of the seam lines but the pose and paint on the harpy is so wonderful I couldn't resist. The others in the set are much less desirable with the exception of the Steller's sea eagle in my opinion.

They certainly make the perfect pair
