Papo at the London Toy Fair 2013 - PHOTOS

Hi everyone

I met with the Papo representatives and took a number of photos of their stand. Unfortunately they don’t bring all the new releases to the show and so I could only take photos of the few animals they did have. They can all be viewed here. I was hoping to see the new Tigress with cubs and the 2012 Oryx but they were not present.

I must say the new Gibbon, anteater and Indian Rhino are stunning as well as the sitting baby Giraffe! I look forward to adding these to my collection.

Oh, that grizzly

Wow thanks Numaan, excellent photos!! I love the scottish terrier, so cute! Grizzly looks gorgeous and the camel which I wasn't sure about! I think it's funny they didn't have all the new releases, like the tigress lying, peacock and Gharial.

Hi Harriet

I was told that this was intentional so as to drum up interest but I would have liked to have seen all the animals. I did ask them to send me a sample but they are busy. if I do receive that Tigress I will be sure to post lots of pictures :-)

Again the staff at Papo are lovely and always take time out to talk to me a little and listen and I appreciate that.

But most of all the wooly rhino, which I already have, thanks to a enormously generous Macaque in France

Thanks for the photos! I'm not much of a wildlife collector (mostly sealife and a few reptiles) but I might just be making an acception for the gibbon. The gharial must be one of the other figures that they didn't bring with them

This is EXCITING! I confess, seeing the Papo pictures from the London Fair was more exciting to me than the pictures from Schleich or even CollectA

The Scottish Terrier really jumped out at me. Fantastic!

The Grizzly is the model I am most looking forward to of any model for 2013, by any company. I am crazed with desire for that Grizzly. (I'm not even getting the Schleich Standing Grizzly...it looks like a person wearing a Bear costume.)

Like Harriet said, the Camel looks a lot better in Numaan's pictures. I'm excited about it now.

Like Susanne said, the new Fox, wow!!

And finally, that Gibbon! Fantastic! Huzzah for Papo!

Numaan, thanks again for pictures.
I am not a collector that the name of the brand is important for my opinions. But anytime I see something from Papo I get a little more excited than with other brands. Why? Because when Papo makes a good work, makes it better than any other company. How long we have to wait to see figures close to the quality and realism of Papo hippo, lioness, crocodile, etc.? I am not saying that all Papo are good and I think the average quality of new Mojo and CollectA releases are better. But, when Papo is good beats everyone.

Was the longhorn bull there?
