Need help with choosing from the brands Papo, Safari LTD and CollectA

Hello everybody!
First of all, sorry for being dead xD
I don't have much time to post something, because i work on a farm and sleep there two days a week.

My question was, I go shopping for models in a few weeks!
its a shop in Amsterdam, but it has literaly tons of models from serveral brands.
A truly dream for every collector!
I've been there once, and choosing there is really difficult, Because there are so many beautiful models.

So i'd like to ask some of you, What is your opinion of most beautiful Animal/Fantasy figures
from the brands Papo, Safari LTD and CollectA?

I hope some of you can tell, It would make choosing a lot easier!

Nardien, that is a very, very hard question

I think that not 2 people on this forum can agree on more than a few models.
You can see the discussions that we have

You have a lot of Schleich...horses, dogs etc , don`t you ?
Some of the other brands are very different from Schleich. You may have to get used to them...

I would say that Papo makes some wonderful dogs and wild cats. I find their horses charming.
Papo has made gorgeous models, - and a few that are...hmmmm...quite unusual

CollectA makes beautyful wild birds, and A LOT of different dog breeds. Their horses are a class of their own.
Also Collecta made so fantastic and unusual species of wild, horned critters last year.

Safari has a great variety of beautyful animals from the northern fauna, if you can get hold of their new wapiti, I think it is divine
I also like their cattle, - well, Papo makes some nice cattle also.

But most of all...let your heart decide

These are wise words.. I shall look at google at Papo's dogs, etc. To see wich ones i like..
Altought I think you have to hold the model in your hands to decide
I will follow my heart, and afcourse I will post pics!

So i can only say my opinion. Horses and dragons i dont know. But i think the CollectA Striped hyena is a must have, than i like the Papo dogs and from Safari fantasy figurines

As Andreas I know nothing serious about horses and dragons but I guess you can add the COLLECTA striped hyena and SAFARI Ltd spotted hyena.

I don't collect dogs but I have a lot of affection for PAPO dogs too.

I would love to have such a shop near my home I wish you a very good time in Amsterdam

For horses, Collecta is probably your best bet. Not all of their models are amazing, but most of them are lightyears above what Schleich is doing. Papo and Schleich are a bit more toy like, and Safari ltd is kind of a mix of Papo and Collecta.
