Yesterday I got a wonderful parcel from Sue in Spokaine, Washington  

She was selling her fine, old Schleich - bendies, and I was lucky to get some of these treasures.
An ostrich, a horse, a tiger and a little flower-lady

The lady is a promotional model.
I had one, but the one from Sue is not only in better condidtion, she is also different.
The new one to the left
For some strange reason they remind me of the two sister in "My neighbor Totoro"

The tiger is also a beautyful variation, with a lot more white her face

The new horse must surely be a mare, - look at her lipstick and how she is flirting

BUT, being the kindest lady ever, Sue had included a whole stack of gifts !

The retired camel from Safari, and even with the old tag !
What an enormous difference to the present model...I just LOVE them both

And a real gem, - the Authentics walrus! He brought his friend, a Disney-fish that has light in his mouth

The cute little black pug from Schleich !
A modest little model, which is so lovely full of personality! Yes, Schleich still CAN do it

Last, but not least, a beautyful little doe, made by Auburn  
I think it must be more than 50 years old ?  And SO charming

There certainly is something for every taste in all your new additions here  And Papo Ranger is the one to keep an eye out for all new ones, it seems. I remember him introducing the Mojo Panda too I hope not he's looking to your whole collection, I mean, he'd get stress

they are absolutely gorgeous Susanne.   

It is interesting how some feliforms like hyenas are so similar with canids, mainly with painted dogs, I like the picture with these two pictoresque creatures.
Congratulations for this little and beautiful figure and also for your scaled variations.

Roger, yes, isn't it true that hyenas look like dogs ?  
As a child I never doubted they were dogs...I hope I am not the only ignorant person ever

Well, I think it happened with all of us, including the most reputed scientists. It is almost instictive.

But the caterpillar's quite scary  

Today I got a parcel from Yvette  
I knew there were a lot of great stuff in it, but didn't know HOW great   
It goes without saying that several critters on my new shelves had to move a bit closer together

This cow !!! Isn`t she beautyful ? She is made by Lineol, and I just love her

Perhaps tomorrow she will get a very gentle and careful brushing
These close-ups are awfull, - you can see any speck of dust that are invisible when you just look at a model.

Last, but not least  : Reisler models that I have been looking for for AGES !!!!
The black/white cattle were not made for very long, and especially this one in hard plastic is a gem !

The two tiny dogs are actually made by Hausser in the early ´60s, and sold by Reisler.
Mr. Hausser and Mr Reisler were friends, and exchanged some models to expand their product range.

But now these models are so rare in Denmark as to be non-existing !

Holding these tiny, fine doggies in my hand is unbelievable ! 
I have collected Reisler for app 55 years, and never, ever seen them before

Gorgeous bear family! They give a good warm feeling in the heart, just looking at them
