I have in my collection these both models - They are exactly the same models.

Here they are - The lioness is Toy Major / T.M. - The leopard is from AAA. I know there is also a snow leopard, also the same model.

Here is the lioness from T.M. = Toy Major.

This is intersting, the sculptings are very feline built what is nice. Though, it is easy to see that leopards, lionesses and snow leopards have different shapes. A little and simple example are tails, snow leopards have thick tails, leopard narrow and long and lionesses have a brush in their tips. Very Happy
It doesn't mean that they're not nice and I wish you good luck getting the snow leopard. Thanks for showing one more brand that uses AAA moulds. Susanne has a mould of the brand that works for a spotted hyena and for an African wild dog. Laughing Very Happy

Roger, you're a very good observer, as always!sunny This is probably a typical property of of crocodiles.Wink
This funny example shows, how to get different animal species for different brands - all with a single model.:) But arrow the question is arrow Who was the first ? Suspect AAA or T.M. ?  Laughing

Laughing Thanks! flower We don't know too much about AAA as a brand. But we know that they produce models to many other brands and we believe that it is their main business. study
Among these brands that use or used AAA, we can remember Schleich, Bullyland, Safari Ltd, Ravensden, Yolanda, Mamejo, etc. So, I think Toy Major is one more using their moulds. Also, almost surely, AAA is older than the most lines of modern brands once some started their lines with AAA figures. As a last point, we can perceive a somewhat vintage touch in some of their sculpts, what can be a sign of their ancestry. farao Very Happy
