[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here they are - The lioness is Toy Major / T.M. - The leopard is from AAA. I know there is also a snow leopard, also the same model. Here is the lioness from T.M. = Toy Major. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here is the leopard from AAA. | Roger, you're a very good observer, as always! This is probably a typical property of of crocodiles. This funny example shows, how to get different animal species for different brands - all with a single model.:) But the question is Who was the first ? AAA or T.M. ? _________________ Yvette

This funny example shows, how to get different animal species for different brands - all with a single model.:) But the question is Who was the first ? AAA or T.M. ? Thanks! We don't know too much about AAA as a brand. But we know that they produce models to many other brands and we believe that it is their main business. Among these brands that use or used AAA, we can remember Schleich, Bullyland, Safari Ltd, Ravensden, Yolanda, Mamejo, etc. So, I think Toy Major is one more using their moulds. Also, almost surely, AAA is older than the most lines of modern brands once some started their lines with AAA figures. As a last point, we can perceive a somewhat vintage touch in some of their sculpts, what can be a sign of their ancestry. |
