| I love the lion, and the snow leopard, but they recycled the main body for the puma and added more fur. But I will definitely get it! I like the hippo, the cobra is great, not sure about the tortoise, like the macaw, the stork looks a little funny to me, cute baby bear, the octopus and beluga are neat, not sure about the manatee or the turtle, the walrus looks like the old Schleich one, cavalier spaniel is cute, glad they did a black schnauzer, and that husky! the weimarner looks a little weird, but it could just be the catalogue bending, but the cats look great. Making black percherons is a good idea, the new bull looks awesome, its about time someone made a chicks other than yellow, even if it is only one. The wolf pup is the biggest news for me this year. He looks almost perfect! Basically, this looks like a pretty good year from Papo! But please, if anyone can get their hands on pictures, please post them ASAP! |

I don't think they added more fur. They obviously re-used the front part of the Puma (head and front legs). The back legs and tail are different though. And all of a sudden, the small head on the Puma looks better on a snow leopard, because the rest of its body is supposed to be covered in thick fur. Nice thinking Papo! |

| Snow leopard! I also love the wolf pup, Weimaraner and Husky. Baby bear is also cute. Not so sure about the new lion, I have to see other photos of him first. The rest of wildlife is also great but I'm not interested in them _________________ ~Magda (formerly Mangalarga) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Blog | Facebook |

| Thank you for posting these. Will have to wait for better photos to make up my mind. Manatee & Walrus: Is such copying even allowed? _________________ Bojan

| I think the models of the manatee and walrus are from Maia & Borges, and I'm pretty sure they sold those molds to Schleich, then started making them themselves a few years later when Schleich stopped producing the walrus and manatee (?). So either they stole the mold or whatever, or they bought it from Maia & Borges legally. However, someone else would probably know more about this since I literally know nothing else than what I already wrote here. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Thanks, in terms of diversity it is quite uninteresting for me. I think some of the figures are interesting and the quality is not bad, maybe I'll find something, based on diversity I don't need anything but if some of them are really good as usual in Papo maybe I'll get them. Looking forward to see the good walk arounds of some of STS members. Papo obviously reused some figures or part of them, it is interesting to find it. :) The only unfortunate point is that most of the releases are too obvious remembering some boring Schleich years but with much smaller heads! |

| Not much for me either... Wolf cub is just perfect, probably the best new animal in the catalog. Other than that - hippo female, lion, snow leopard and repainted Andalusian bull... _________________ Robert

| That's an Archaeopteryx? It looks monstrous , I thought it was some kind of big dromaeosaur like Utahraptor, since Archaeopteryxes were very gracile birdlike creatures; seems papo won't give up the jurassic park retro monster movie style . At last! A papo snow leopard! And I don't think it's a puma re sculpt, except for the position of the front paws, which look similar, but let's wait for the actual figure to judge from the size if that's the case. Too bad there aren't any prehistoric mammals this year. Thanks for the posts. |

| Do you think this bird can be a Red-and-green Macaw instead of a Scarlet Macaw? It could, actually it could be anything else I saw it in a shop last saturday and I decided to avoid buying it. IMHO it is not a very serious thing. |

| For me it looks like a red-and-green macaw because at the wings you see a little bit green. |
