Schleich 2014 first news!!! Possible retired figures on page 1, Bayala page 3 and horses page 7

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to confuse and/or upset. I meant that some people, back when Schleich had great horses, really had strong feelings about the brand and might have been upset. Not that this is anyone on the forum - I know a few people like this not on the forum.

Right, and unfortunately from the direction Schleich seems to be going, it's hard to compare realism when there isn't much to start with. Hopefully though, the catalog photos make them look worse than in reality.

There are a lot of different hallingers. There are the elegant ones:

so there isn't just one representation possible for a halflinger horse...

And not all breyers are skinny and dramatic (some might look that way), breyer has the best thoroughbred models on the market at the moment.

I agree with A-J, my dad always told me that every animal is different. For instance grizzly bears, you will see the perfect representation of a grizzly with a heart shaped face and little beady eyes and a nice caramel colored coat. And then there are some who have rather large muzzles, more oval shaped faces and slightly bigger or farther seta part eyes with a fairly dark chocolatey coat. They look different, but really they are still the same species. That's why I think that the Schleich standing bear and papo bear are still fine, they're just different representations of a species. But yes I will admit that the Schleich standing cub is rather teddy bear looking, but its still only supposed to be a half grown cub after all. And on another note, this doesn't mean that I don't find some models simply unrealistic, that arabian mare in my opinion isn't a good representation of the breed. Anyways, that's just my opinion, and now I am simply dying to know what else is being released.

Also, if the Arabian will be loved or not, even the Black Forest stallion and Tinker stallion do not share same taste. That's how I see it shows on here too, though most seem to agree with Black Forest

Thank you again Álvaro I love the old Falabella model a lot more than the new one. He is afterall also one of the oldest Schleich models to still be around, until now.
