| Hey guys! Here is unfinished brazilian tapir. Sorry for the quality of pictures. As Anna suggested, I've made it in a sitting position :) I wanted to make this position more interesting by bowing it, but it disrupted the proportions a bit. Please, let me know what I should change. I haven't added the fur texture and muscles yet. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| I usually don't like very much sitting figures, though I must confess this one is resulting very well and you've found a very beautiful pose under Ana's suggestion. It is also a good challenge for you to sculpt figures in different poses, I am curious to see how it will look after muscles and texture being added. I hope the texture is more similar to your last tapir and not the excessively brushed style of some previous works. I am enjoying a lot this figure! |

| He looks great! My only suggestion is maybe make his nose a little longer. He looks awesome though. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Thank you very much my friends. I will try to lengthen the nose a little bit, but brazilian tapirs have the shortest noses of all tapirs. The fur will not be as long as mountain tapir's, but I will make a texture more like in Collecta's tapir :) |

| Nice start to your tapir model. I think the mane area and the neck need to be made thicker as this is a distinctive look of the species. The mane ridge starts at the back of the shoulders then extends forward to the forehead. Also, the actual face could be lengthened, including the lower jaw...the face seems too short. Tapirs have very triangular shaped head and skulls from the side view.
The feet look a bit cat like at the moment, you could lengthen the two middle toes. I know this is still early stages but I hope this helps. |

| Love this figure!! Everything is done perfect only the snouty snout, maybe you can make it twist a little upwards as if he is sniffing the air :) _________________ Alvin

| I hope it looks better now. The feet need just a little reshape. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |
