I visited a "Breyer Flag Ship Store," and they had the dartmoors in stock already Shocked They're very pretty though, and fortunately a very good price, since they're Classic scale. Very Happy I purchased a haflinger on the same mold that was on sale recently - when I get the time I'll post a photo here for you. sunny

(Okay, this is the third time typing this after it got deleted twice already Crying or Very sad )

Now for the photos Sleep

This mold was sculpted by Bridget Eberl and released in 2011 for Breyerfest in a limited release of 800. For that model, she was painted in a dark, dappled brown/black color with white mane/tail, very much like a black forest horse. She was sold with a matching little foal. Very Happy

Also in 2011 this model was released as a "chestnut haflinger." She is not yet retired. I should mention that she is 1:12 scale from the Classics line. cyclops

Laughing Laughing They're so tacky, but adorable! Hopefully the tack shop near me gets them in, doesn't sell them, and they end up in the "bargain pile." I love the Hansel mold! I love you

More new models for 2014 Smile

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

That Othello/Wintersong! I was hoping for any regular run on this mould, and this one has fantastic paintjob! Beautiful sabino Clydesdale! I just hope the actual model will be at least as pretty as on this photo!
And I just realized we'll have a year of a (wooden) horse soon!

Woah, so cool! I definitely want to get the Wintersong, the woodie Saddlebred, maybe the Fjord (I don't have any Breyer fjords yet), and the parade saddle set, if it's not cheapo like a lot of their tack. The Espirit is very interesting too, but not sure I like the markings.  scratch Thank you for sharing Magda!  bounce

OH NOOOO  affraid affraid affraid affraid

What is that?  Laughing

I normally don't like using the word "kitschy" but there is no better description for this style, it looks like essence of this word indeed  lol!

I usually avoid this part of STS, as those Breyers are too big, too expensive, too BEAUTIFUL.maybe.. One day.. Maybe.. I could have just ONE .. Just to try it.. I mean bounce bounce bounce bom tongue

Interesting to see a Breyer Fjord.

Seems like pink also entered Breyer this year. That pink set sure looks "kitsch"  Laughing It makes me think of Dallas and Beverly Hills 2010  Razz

Thank you 4U, for comparison with a Schleich and Breyer Classic.. I always wondered the exact size difference there.

I know what you mean Wink I try to focus on mini-sized models (like Collecta, and smaller) mainly due to their size and lower prices. But I keep coming back to considering buying some Classics and Traditionals... But I don't have space and money for them! :<

If you get one, you'll be bitten by the bug!  affraid Maybe start out with some Stablemates or Micros because of size?

I started with Stablemates (and I love them!), now I want MOAR! Laughing
I had one Classic and one Traditional foal - I sold them mainly due to space issues, but now I kinda want the big ones again. I can't make up my mind completely, one second I'd may loads of money for them, the next second I'm like "meh, I prefer minis". cyclops
Oh well, maybe I'll buy some, I can always sell them later Wink
