| I made this tree before I went into the hospital, it is a fall foliage tree. Since I don't have room right now for a new diorama I put it on eBay, which was a hard decision because to me it was one of the most beautiful trees I've ever made as far as the color of the foliage goes, and it sold right away! I'm going to make another one as soon as I finish the commission I started before my surgery. I wish I had taken a few more photos, I took 3 or 4 for the eBay listing but I didn't save them, here is the only one I did save, hope you like it! | Thanks everyone, for the comments and the well wishes. I'm much better, just so everyone knows on Nov. 11th I had another abdominal surgery to repair several hernias created by my two multi-organ transplants. I have a great team of Dr's and two sets of fantastic sergeons, one for my transplants and one for all of the other problems I've had because of the recovery from the transplants. For me this is not a simple surgery, my abdominal wall is very weak from 7 previous operations (which is why I had so many hernias) and the scar tissue build up was causing other health issues that I had no choice but to have this procedure done. I was in the hospital for 8 days for what is normally a 1day procedure but I'm home now and recovering with what looks like no long lasting problems.
Hopefully as I gain my health I'll be back to making trees and a few animal figures here and there so you will be seeing more dioramas coming soon. I'm almost done with a mini dio for the forest buffalo pair, I'm at the point where I need the two buffalo before I can do any more landscaping. I've finished all of the background and the sides of the box, made several bushes and the mud hole outline, once I place the pair on the base I can finish the mud and all of the water, then place the rest of the brush and a few really nice plants around them to finish it. I will post plenty of pictures when they get here. I also have the fighting mountain zebra by Silvia, and Joan's topi to make small scenes for, lots of trees and bushes to make as I recover so there will be plenty of pictures to show everyone! |

| I missed the topic Phil I'm glad to know you feel better and I hope your health problems are behind you. Your fall tree is fabulous and I envy your eBay buyer, it is a lucky person I can't wait to see more good pics of plants and dies because you are my favorite gardener |

| I echo all of the above compliments... it is wonderful to have someone that can make the trees as well as you do. A very rare skill! _________________ - Tahnaya [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] https://www.minizoo.com.au/ |
