| There are a lot of unrelated trees that look like pines, trees like cypress, junipers, monkey puzzle trees and redwoods just to name a few. True pines make the typical "pine" cone that we all know, while these others have a seed pod that is scientifically not related. Anyway I was trying to make a weeping willow that I like and I found a preserved foliage that I thought would work. Well the bad news was it didn't, the good news it did work for pine trees and some of the other types I menitoned earlier. I have made 3 really quickly and the next two I am going to try are a tree fern and a monkey puzzle tree. I have to do a better job of painting the foliage because in the photo I still see some white where the flowers were. I will post when I make some other trees with the same method.
