Since this is a brand new release by my favorite brand, and a kind request from Simone, I will now proudly present pics of this arctic giants from my photobox to all my great friends on this forum. here is the bowhead whale!

A wonderful model of a great creature.   
I am sure I will get this one for my tiny whale-colletion, because in Danish we call the "Grønlandshval", meaning Greenland Whale ...so in that respect it is a Danish animal

Christophe, the whale is 9 inches long and solid and heavy. It is almost big enough to be in the Monterey Bay line although it is not to a certain scale.

Nice walk around Lance! Thank you! This model is (hopefully) on its way to my home as we speak. I'm really looking forward to receiving it and your pictures have only increased my anticipation.

Maybe, but we won't know until we've seen them both, in person. It's hard to judge from photographs. I've found that Safari models especially benefit a lot from being viewed in person.

thank you Scott, it does look better than the catalog photo and I think you will be pleased especially with the whale's mouth which looks so real. I hope it is just as good as the collecta whale as I will not be purchasing that model.

I don't know which is the best but I do like that figure very much! I only collect small sized but these monsters atract me a lot!

I understand your attraction Rogério. I have the small PV bowhead whale and I always feel a bit upset with its size.  

A whale is a whale, it needs to seems big for me.
