so the figures, with that prices is very rare to find??   

Well, they were only made for 1 or two years, but seem to have been a flop in the market , - why ?  

I have given it some thought, and think that :

- The large ones were much too expensive. For instance the elephant was almost 100 Euros here in Denmark. 
- Most of the heroes are pretty boring to look at IMHO
- The market is swarmed with movie heroes from Spiderman to Lord of the Rings and a lot that I don't know of , and they all have a good story to enhance the fantasy.
- The Schleich models are not historicall correct
- They do not appeal to Grandma as a gift for little Johnny ( Half naked, aggressive)
- They come from differnet aeras. I simply can't imagine playing with them.

Other reasons ??

These four reasons should be behind it. So much of the great accesoires and big figures only were in the range for two or three years, because they don't apply as small gifts.
