Papo's adult Tinkers with new painting :-)

Last year Papo changed to a new painting for the adult Tinkers , and now they are in the catalogue  

It is easy to see why they changed, - the old ones must have taken a long time to paint   

Here the new black-pinto :

The older ones were covered with aint, while the newer ones are moulded in off-white material, and only the dark marks are painted.
They certainly look cheper, but they are quite ok, IMHO

Very interesting   So it was too expensive to produce the old colours with all the detail.. ? Hmm.. .

I agree, they look fine.

Now that Schleich has all the paint time, I wish Papo also had it.

Now the oldies will be sought after I believe  

I kinda like the new piebald Tinker.
A lot of white and a few black markings sure makes it look like the Gypsy horse we all know and love.
But that muzzle.... oh dear...   
It looks like the poor thing got hit with the ugly stick there.

As for the skewbald, I do like the 2 coloured mane over the simple white.
But I like the face of the new one more.

I guess it's going to be a hard choice, which one to get from now on.

I didn't realise how nice this tinker was, I find it a very appealing little horse. I think I prefer the old paintwork though.

Lot of companies are simplifying their paintings and here a good example how Papo is also doing it. :)
I also like best old versions, though, it is great that new versions are real variations and very different from previous. Thanks for sharing!

Nice little horses,will have to try and get the newer models as I have the older piebald horse.

As a real-life Tinker owner, I prefer the new ones. But the pinking on the black and white one isn't very right. The whole nose has to be pink ;)It looks very weird now. But besides that, I think they have much charm! I don't own one of these yet, maybe I might buy the black and white one since the spots are alike like my horses. The only thing that bothers me about this mold is the strange and a too long head.
